Foundation for the Blind to Expand Huntington Location

The American Foundation for the Blind, headquartered in New York City, will be relocating its finance department and sales and marketing services to Huntington. In 2002, HADCO assisted in bringing the AFB to Huntington with an initial staff of 3. AFB currently has a staff of 8 and will expand to 18 or 19 within the next few months. AFB national President Carl Augusto was in Huntington this week to make the announcement. "With this expansion, Huntington will be our second-biggest office in the country, and the jobs will be good, very competitive," Augusto said. "We've had a lot of success in hiring great employees with great work ethic here."
