BRE Programs
HADCO operates a dynamic Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program following industry best practices and guidelines as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO). Our program’s mission is to grow the area’s economy through the long-term retention and expansion of business and industry in Cabell and Wayne County. Our comprehensive approach to BRE focuses on delivering outstanding value to area businesses through various local, state and federal assistance programs. HADCO brings resources to the table that put area businesses in the best possible position to grow sales, become more profitable and create new jobs and investment in our region.
HADCO works with existing companies in the region to help them to grow and expand. We partner with early-stage businesses to provide location services and access to capitals programs. Stage II growth firms can receive market research and marketing grants through our “Economic Gardening” program, as well as various finance and workforce training resources. We also support our mature companies by offering programs to increase production efficiency and product competitiveness. No matter what stage a company is in, HADCO has the resources and expertise to assist.
We’re proud of our partnership with the regional organization supporting commerce in the nine counties surrounding Huntington and Charleston. Through this regional program we are able to coordinate unique business service offerings including a regionally integrated supplier and business-to-business program focused on connecting regional businesses to sales and supplier opportunities.
We work closely with the West Virginia Department of Economic Development to help local companies benefit from training grants, assistance with export issues, and find favorable financial options when they’re ready to expand.
